Layers of clothing, and waterproof gear are vital for a comfortable trip in Alaska’s varying conditions, but please pack light in a soft-sided bag for your visit with us since you’re coming by floatplane. You’ll be able to store your hard luggage at Alaska West Air or with Rust’s and likely the other flight services. If you happen to forget one of vital items listed below, there’s a chance we have a spare you can use.

  • Soft-sided luggage (Duffel-type is preferable, 30 pounds maximum for travel to our lodge)
