Redoubt Bay Lodge Rates for 2027
Lodge Opens June 5th 2027 and Closes August 31, 2027
We welcome you to Redoubt Bay Lodge 2027 season. Because we are located within 7 miles of Cook Inlet, we have early run Sockeye Salmon arriving in late May, which draw the bears to our location; making June, July and August premium months to view Alaska Coastal Brown Bears and cubs. Prices are per person. Rates are based on double occupancy. Included in the price is round trip airfare from either North Kenai or Anchorage to Redoubt Bay Lodge. If your trip originates from Anchorage, we provide courtesy van transportation from most Anchorage hotels. If departing from North Kenai, you will depart from Alaska West Air base located at 45495 Citabria Street, Kenai, AK 99611. Overnight guests will enjoy; a private cabin, three gourmet meals designed by our Chef, house beer and wine, three guided excursions daily (guided bear-viewing, kayaking and/or fishing). Overnight packages are based on a 24 hour period. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions prior to arrival at Redoubt Bay Lodge.
Extra costs: Speciality Beer or Wine along with additional excursions are available for purchase at the lodge. Staff gratuities are appreciated and split between the entire staff at the lodge. The average gratuity is $60.00-$100.00 per day, per person.

Scenic 1 hour sightseeing tour in the Chigmit Mountains viewing its rugged peaks, volcanoes, glaciers and surrounding wildlife from Redoubt Bay Lodge in a floatplane with a 4 person minimum.

Fly in a Bush plane to one of the surrounding ridges for a 3-4 hour guided tour. Either hike and explore or just relax and enjoy the vistas–
By floatplane land in the Summit lake area in Lake Clark National Park.

We have access to some of the most productive waters in the South Central region of Alaska. Several different fishing options are available for Sockeye, King, or Silver Salmon depending on season and corresponding runs.
*All excursions can be changed due to inclement weather and require a 4 person minimum.
Policies and Details
Child Rate: Children aged 12 and under at the time of travel are eligible for the child rate.
Reservations: A 50% deposit by personal check or credit card is due upon making a reservation. Once your deposit is received, you will be sent a confirmation for your reservation. Full payment is due 120 days prior to arrival. Reservations made less than 120 days prior to arrival must be paid in full at time of booking.
Cancellations: Due to our intimate size and short season, any cancellation affects us significantly. If you need to cancel 120+ days prior to arrival, a refund will be given less a 10% cancellation fee. If 120 days or less notice of cancellation, 100% penalty will apply provided we cannot fill the space completely.
**We strongly recommend all guests purchase travel insurance to cover any and all costs for cancellations and disruptions due to travel, illness and weather delays. Redoubt Bay Lodge can provide information to your travel insurance company for proof of disruptions with your travel in an effort to assist in your reimbursement. Weather delays and lost or extra days: Inclement weather can delay air travel; Redoubt Bay Lodge is not responsible for any weather delays or extra days at the Lodge. There are no refunds for days lost at Redoubt Bay Lodge due to weather preventing planes from accessing our location. Additional days at Redoubt Bay Lodge due to any delay (weather included) are considered a normal day and all guided activities, meals, and housekeeping are supplied. If this occurs; prior to departing the lodge, you will be charged $450.00 per person per day.
